Starfield’s Latest Update Adds New Vehicle and Xbox Series S Display Options

The popular space adventure game, Starfield, has released its latest update, bringing a highly-requested feature: the REV-8 land vehicle. Now players can explore new frontiers and reach new heights in their very own land cruiser. The REV-8 is equipped with a powerful mounted turret as well as armor for additional protection when driving, and players can even customize it with unique colors. As they tour planets in Starfield, players are bound to run into some hostile elements, but the REV-8’s boosters can help them get out of a sticky situation quickly, allowing them to add some jump to their ride and reach areas that would have previously been much tougher to get to. In addition to the new vehicle, the August Update also includes new Xbox Series S display settings to mirror existing Xbox Series X settings. Players can now choose between 30, 40, 60 or an Uncapped frame rate on VRR displays, and prioritize between Visuals and Performance while trying to maintain the frame rate target. The update also includes general performance and stability improvements, as well as fixes for various issues reported by players.
