AMD Announces Achieving 1000 FPS in eSports Titles with Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs

Date: September 14, 2025
According to a recent article by Hardware News - Graphics Card & Processor News, AMD has claimed that gamers can achieve an impressive 1000 FPS in popular eSports titles such as CS2 and Valorant by pairing high-end GPUs with their new Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs. This milestone comes after these games previously reached frame rates of around 600-700 FPS.
AMD specifies that this performance is achievable with the Ryzen 9800X3D, 99503D, and Ryzen 9950X3D processors when using their recommended settings. The company emphasizes that such high frame rates require not only a top-tier GPU but also an incredibly strong CPU.
Interestingly, this achievement isn't entirely new. Approximately two years ago, Der8auer demonstrated achieving 1000 FPS in CS2 using a liquid nitrogen-cooled Core i9 14900K paired with an RTX 4090. AMD's announcement now brings this level of performance within reach for more gamers by leveraging their latest CPU technology.
