ASTRONEER New Release: STARSEEKER Expands Interstellar Exploration

October 07, 2025 - Today marks an exciting milestone for fans of ASTRONEER as the highly anticipated STARSEEKER update launches, bringing fresh content and mechanics to the game. This new release, titled Astroneer Expeditions, invites players into a universe filled with discovery, teamwork, and deep space exploration.

STARSEEKER introduces a dynamic 4-player cooperative experience where squads can explore exotic planets like Tephra, a vibrant world teeming with diverse biomes and mysterious alien creatures. Players will utilize advanced tools such as the EXO Tool with nozzle upgrades, enabling new interactions like air blasts and water hoses. Additionally, players can now climb, swim, dive, and glide across the planetary surfaces, offering unprecedented mobility in their adventures.

The ESS Starseeker space station serves as the central hub for planning missions and earning reputation within the Fronteer Force. Players will work together to complete objectives, loot resources, and uncover hidden secrets through community goals and shared missions. These collaborative efforts drive the narrative forward while rewarding players with exclusive content.
