New Features and Enhancements
The latest patch, version 0.2.5, introduces a host of new features and improvements:
- Achievements Unveiled: Players can now earn 16 brand-new achievements with more to come in future updates.
- Rested Buff Enhanced: The Rested buff now increases experience gained from kills by 20%, aiding players on their journey toward stronger characters.
- Attribute Overhauls: Strength, Intellect, and Armor have been significantly enhanced. Strength now boosts health gains on hit, kill, and potion use; Intellect amplifies mana regeneration across all sources; and Armor impacts damage-over-time effects for the first time.
- New Legendary Affixes: Players can now equip Light armor with the "Unlimited Power" affix, removing Chain Lightning's cooldown. Heavy armor enthusiasts will appreciate the "Aftershock" affix, triggering multiple aftershocks with each Earthstrike attack.
- Glyph and Ring Updates: Windshadow and Resonance glyphs have been redesigned, and players can now roll for these along with Audacity and Deadly Precision on legendary rings. Additionally, the Forest Fire affix now properly extends fire DoT durations.
- Character Stats Overhaul: The character stats sheet now displays a more comprehensive range of statistics to provide better insight into character progression.
Bug Fixes and Balance Adjustments
The patch also addresses several bugs that were previously hindering the gameplay experience, including:
- Fixed the Rested buff's movement speed increase to now function as intended while not attacking.
- Corrected Chain Lightning to properly chain between enemies with each jump reducing damage by 10%.
- Resolved an issue where Intellect did not affect mana gained beyond a baseline rate of 0.5/sec.
- Fixed Armor's ineffectiveness against damage-over-time effects, ensuring balanced gameplay.
