One gloomy night, Bulb Boy wakes suddenly from a frightening nightmare to discover that evil has overshadowed the Bulbhouse. His family has disappeared and there are horrid monsters lurking in the shadows. Gather the courage and use his glass head to save everything he loves.

The Creation Story

Bulb Boy, a game about a boy with a light bulb instead of a head, was born in 2014 from a sketch and a friend's comment. Inspiration came from classic adventure games like Goblins, The Neverhood, and Machinarium, focusing on immersive worlds with puzzles and quirky characters.

The Journey to Success

The first Kickstarter campaign failed but received unexpected support from PewDiePie, who saw potential in the prototype. Bulb Boy was released after over a year of production, receiving positive reviews but disappointing sales. The Nintendo Switch port became a turning point, ranking 63rd in the eShop's top 100 titles and bringing Bulb Boy to a wider audience.

A Bright Future
