Dune: Awakening Announces Major Updates and Enhancements
October 07, 2025 - The developers of Dune: Awakening, an Open World Survival RPG set in the iconic universe of Dune, have announced significant updates to enhance the player experience. These fixes and new features aim to improve gameplay mechanics, expand storage capabilities, and enrich exploration opportunities.
Among the notable enhancements is the introduction of a Vehicle Recovery System, which includes a dedicated Recovery Mode. This feature allows players to retrieve their vehicles more efficiently after they get lost or damaged in the treacherous deserts of Arrakis. Players can also look forward to significant improvements in the Deep Desert looting experience, making it more rewarding and immersive.
The update also brings a new Replace mode for building pieces within the construction tool, offering greater flexibility when constructing or modifying structures. Additionally, the vehicle view distance has been increased to an impressive 2 kilometers, providing players with a more expansive and visually stunning environment to navigate.
In terms of storage, the bank system has been significantly expanded from 25 slots and 1500 volume to a whopping 500 slots and 30,000 volume.
