Dune: Awakening - New Release Featuring Character Transfer and Server Improvements (No Discounts)
Date: February 12, 2026
Overview
Dune: Awakening is an open‑world survival RPG that lets players fully immerse themselves in the epic universe of Dune. Whether you venture alone or with friends, you can explore the vast desert planet Arrakis, survive the towering sandworms, build a home, craft an ornithopter, and uncover the mystery surrounding the missing Fremen.
Key Highlights in the New Release
- Character Transfer: Players can now transfer characters to both full and locked worlds, provided they have a friend present in the destination world.
- Sensor Antenna Relocation: The interactable sensor antenna used in the Rift Recon Run mission has been moved to a new position, ensuring that other players' bases no longer block interaction.
Bug Fixes & Technical Improvements
- Improved server stability for a smoother multiplayer experience.
- Resolved an issue where purchasing Light and Heavy Contraband armor variants did not grant the corresponding customization. Affected players will receive reimbursement of spent Scrips in the next patch.
- Fixed an edge‑case where some players could not snap their backed‑up bases to the origin due to a “Too close to a No Building Zone” message.
- Corrected a bug where ranged NPCs would not attack if affected by the Attractor Field.
- Addressed a problem where the journey HUD tracker could break during the Bloodline journey in Chapter 2, showing “Unknown” as the next objective.
