Dungeon Warfare 3: September Update Brings New Features and Bug Fixes

Dungeon Warfare 3 has just received a substantial update, introducing exciting new features, improvements, and bug fixes to enhance the gaming experience. This update addresses player feedback and adds fresh content to keep the game engaging.
Highlights of the Update:
- New Trap: Barrage Trap - Now load four firebolt orbs and unleash them in a burst when triggered, creating devastating area damage.
- New Building: Anima Laboratory - Unlocks three additional Anima Engines, boosting your defensive capabilities further.
- Achievements Panel Added - Track your progress and unlock new achievements with ease.
New Features:
The update introduces several gameplay enhancements:
- Gameplay Traps: Arcane Trap - Accretion now gains stacks even when hitting shields only. Lightning Trap - Inductive Burst values adjusted to match description; bounced lightning scales with damage modifiers.
- Economy Improvements: Gem cards in the Shop are sold infinitely, each purchase increasing the next price by 1.5× the previous. Shop & Library granted by default after Ascending.
- Progression Enhancements: Necromancer unlock achievement condition checked on every game entry; Loadout menu now checks the “Master of Traps” achievement when opened.
Bug Fixes:
The update addresses various bugs across different aspects of the game:
- Combat & AI: Silence disables Berserker Whirlwind; Improved movement direction for Fear-affected units; Blood Golem selects dominant route based on triggering unit paths.
- Modes & UX: Endless Mode now allows Screenshot Mode with tooltips viewable while in this mode. Victory condition adjustments for Explosive Barrel and Boulder interactions.
- Bug Prevention: Prevented deletion of Shop, Library, and Story cards; Stopped game progress stalling when Dungeon cards can't be placed; Blocked range/LOS UI behind treasure chests and XP orbs for clarity.
- Text and Performance Improvements: Gold tooltip shows whole numbers only; XP no longer negative in tooltips; Trap construction tooltip no longer lingers. Added particle and text effect performance optimizations.
- Controller Fixes: Reduced performance overhead in controller state checks; D-Pad Left/Right cycles through additional tooltips; Fixed issues when placing traps and manipulating barricades with controllers.
- Stability Enhancements: Prevented a crash entering Pars Crypt; Map Generator updated to include new DW3 unit types.
