GONE Fishing, the co-op multiplayer survival horror game where players must work together to fish and survive against a lake's insatiable hunger, has released an update addressing key issues reported by the community. This latest update focuses on bug fixes and polish improvements to enhance gameplay.

Notable changes include:

  • The shark can no longer bite after landing
  • Significantly reduced the volume of shark sound effects (SFX)
  • Fully resolved an issue where clients sometimes couldn't purchase upgrades; if this persists, please have the host buy the upgrades and notify us on Discord for further assistance
  • Fixed bugs causing upgrades not to apply properly to clients
  • Corrected an issue where the mermaid would lose or change value while scrolling through inventory
  • Addressed a bug where the steam effect from a spawning totem would appear in random locations
  • Other minor improvements and fixes
