Interstellar Space: Genesis Gets Comprehensive Update

September 29, 2025 - Today, fans of Interstellar Space: Genesis are thrilled to receive a major update that addresses player feedback and introduces new features. The game, a turn-based space 4X strategy title where players build galactic empires by colonizing worlds, engaging in tactical combat, and uncovering cosmic mysteries, has been enhanced with bug fixes and improvements.

Version 1.6.3 of Interstellar Space: Genesis includes compatibility updates, addressing issues such as colony governors choosing inappropriate construction projects for asteroid belts without Helium-3. Players can now cancel planet construction projects when ready, and the ability to decrement missile counts and fire arc angles using the Shift key has been added for more precise ship design configurations.

UI/graphics updates include larger remote exploration icons, particularly beneficial in 'Huge' and 'Gigantic' galaxy sizes, making navigation easier. terraforming tooltips have been clarified to better explain requirements for Barren worlds, while revised notes on attack opportunities provide clearer guidance. Additionally, wormhole lines are now displayed in a brighter green to enhance visibility for colorblind players.

Bug fixes include resolving issues with duplicate planet construction projects and AI diplomat dialogue options not appearing after tech trades. The positioning of Kaek's command center light has been corrected, and tech tooltips now accurately reflect Space Marine bonuses. These updates ensure a smoother and more immersive experience for all players.
