Lost Skies Hotfix Update: Enhancements and Bug Fixes Released
    On September 25, 2025, Lost Skies received a comprehensive hotfix deployment to address critical issues and improve the overall gaming experience. Players can now enjoy a more stable and polished version of this cooperative survival adventure game.
The update focuses on enhancing gameplay stability, fixing bugs, and refining mechanics to provide an optimal experience for players who chart their course through ancient ruins, master advanced technology, and craft their own skyships in a breathtaking yet fractured world.
Key bug fixes include:
- Adjusted boss aggro ranges for better combat encounters
 - Corrected Drift costs when upgrading schematics
 - Fixed stats on certain wings displaying incorrectly
 - Resolved issues with loot tables dropping incorrect or no items
 - Addressed a visual bug causing sails to distort excessively
 - Side sails now fill based on sideways wind
 - Removed the notorious 'wiggle' effect from the Herald
 - Herald loot drops are now visible to both clients and host
 - Hip lamps are brighter and more effective in dark areas
 - Ships are fully repaired when docking at a shipyard
 - Shipyards and holograms correctly lower intensity at night
 - Island Physics objects now buoyant on death clouds if they roll off an island
 - Fixed a major bug where the crafting queue was unresponsive with mouse and keyboard inputs
 - Gamepad navigation in Crafting Queue and after Learning/Salvaging schematics has been fixed
 - Re-introduced and fixed important on-screen messages like 'Fuel tank missing'
 - Fixed UI prompts for actions requiring multiple buttons (e.g., rotating ship parts on gamepad)
 - Ship Cores not yet registered now correctly show the 'Register' prompt instead of 'Deconstruct'
 - 'H' key for hiding HUD can be remapped in the keybinding menu
 - Fixed a rare issue where input system could break during rebinding
 - Implemented fix for infinite loading screen during unexpected connection errors
 - Fixed a critical bug where worlds could go missing for a host after an unexpected disconnection
 - Joining and inviting friends via Steam friends list now works correctly
 - Game sets texture quality and resolution upon first launch to prevent performance issues
 - Some fixes for naked island bugs (still monitoring)
 - AI entities no longer enter an un-simulated state for a good few seconds
 - Numerous audio fixes and tweaks implemented
 - Fixed bug where sub-biome audio, such as cave and forest ambience, was missing
 - Heralds no longer play their audio SFX after being defeated
 - Ships sometimes disappearing on first load fixed
 - Loading ships on a shipyard causing dock state desync fixed
 - Ship Undo/discard now works correctly across all clients
 - Fixed issues when destroying/deconstructing hull panels
 - The ship registered to and death loot bags can no longer be unloaded after a save event
 - Loot bags and dropped loot items can no longer affect ships negatively
 - Fixed issues with ship parts going missing or desyncing when reloading/respawning on a ship
