Mist Survival Co-op Mode Now Available for Testing
September 30, 2025 - Mist Survival, a single-player survival stealth sandbox game where players navigate an apocalyptic world dominated by a virus pandemic, has released a major update introducing co-op mode. Players can now join forces with others to face the challenges of finding shelter, food, and dealing with threats such as wild animals, bandits, infected individuals, and dense mist.
The co-op mode is currently in testing phase via the 'coop_test_branch'. A new devlog (#12) on YouTube offers insights into the latest progress regarding the co-op feature. However, it is important to note that the testing is still limited with several bugs being actively addressed by the development team.
Some features currently available include:
- New loading screen when hosting a game to indicate progress
- Co-op mode now accessible for testing
Bug fixes and improvements are ongoing, with three testers actively reporting issues. Fixes are anticipated within the next 1-2 days. Players using older saves may encounter compatibility issues due to frequent updates, and it is recommended to wait for a more stable build before conducting extensive testing.
