Mycopunk Update Brings Enhanced Gameplay and Bug Fixes
September 24, 2025 - Today, Mycopunk, the hyper-customizable mission-based co-op shooter where players join the New Atlas Hazard Crew to combat a deadly fungal menace across the galaxy, has received a significant update. This update focuses on enhancing gameplay mechanics and addressing various bugs reported by the community.
The Cycler's ammo regeneration has been significantly increased, providing players with more flexibility in combat. Additionally, the Jackrabbit also receives a smaller increase in ammo regeneration, further aiding players in their missions. The Shocklance now supports gun crab cosmetics, allowing for even greater customization of characters and weapons.
New features include:
- Cycler: Increased ammo generation by 50% when dealing damage with other weapons
- Jackrabbit: Increased ammo generation by 15% when dealing damage with other weapons
- Shocklance: Added support for gun crab cosmetics
- Swarm Launcher: Removed incorrect ammo consumption description from Overload Contingency
Bug fixes include:
- Cycler: Fixed an issue where using Dump Charge and Rocket Burst together could make the weapon unusable
- Shocklance: No longer cancels charge when auto-sprint is enabled and movement begins after starting to charge
- Fixed a bug causing Laying Cable's damage resistance to increase every time the menu was closed
- Fixed a rare crash in the Prized Possession mission (exact cause unknown)
- Removed Planetary Defense railgun batteries that were spawning inside walls in Titan City
- Removed a clipping lamp post in Titan City
- Fixed an issue where enemies could fly outward when ragdolled inside the Ground Zero bubble
