New Release: Heroes of Science and Fiction Now Available with Free Content and Discounts
January 23, 2026 - A new title has arrived in the turn-based strategy genre, bringing a mix of science fiction and classic gameplay. Heroes of Science and Fiction is a turn-based sci-fi strategy that combines exploration with exciting clashes on the battlefield.
Players take control over several different species, raise powerful armies for their heroes, and destroy opponents. This game, which is a HoMM-like, is set in a scifi universe and introduces new mechanics on top of the classic formula. The project has been in development for six years.
Key features of the new release include:
- Online Multiplayer: Peer-to-peer multiplayer using Steam is planned, with no central servers required. This will be accompanied by LAN support during testing.
- Enhanced AI: AI players will be faster, smarter, and stronger on harder difficulties.
- New Content: A new planet with more skirmish maps is coming, along with additional unique buildings, defensive structures, and items.
- Rewards: An achievement system is being prepared with many challenges.
- Campaign: The final campaign will conclude the main storyline, introducing new heroes and perspectives.
The official release date will be announced soon with a video teaser. A short beta test for multiplayer is also planned to catch any issues before the full release.
