Nin Online Fixes - Updated Mouse Controls and Quality‑of‑Life Improvements
Date: January 31, 2026
What’s New
Play Nin Online - a ninja‑themed open‑world MMORPG where you fight and train with powerful Jutsu, rise through the ranks of your village, and join more than one hundred thousand players worldwide - now for free! The latest patch focuses on mouse‑control customization and a series of quality‑of‑life tweaks.
Customizable Mouse‑Control Settings
- All mouse buttons can be assigned to keybinds, integrating with the newly released Control Profiles feature.
- Option to enable or disable running/walking based on mouse distance.
- Toggle to move right‑click menus to double‑click.
- Hover hints for right‑click/double‑click menus appear after a 1‑second delay, helping new players discover controls without being intrusive.
- Separate settings to change the mouse button used for:
- Target
- Rotate / Change Direction
- Interact / Attack
- Block / Guard (developer‑only)
Developer Shortcuts & UI Improvements
- Right‑click menu shortcut for NPCs, Events, and Furniture opens their respective editors.
- Improved item pickup: click on your character to collect items beneath you, or click directly on nearby items.
- Widened Settings/Options window for easier navigation.
- Refined the behavior of the [X] button on UI windows - it now only closes when the mouse press starts and ends on the button, reducing accidental closures (especially in the Cash Shop).
- Automatic retry attempts added to the Auto‑translate feature for more reliable translations.
Localization & Translation Fixes
- Expanded localization coverage for all language options.
- Removed the “(Translation Missing)” error message.
- Map names on the minimap now display correct translations.
- Guild Name UI alignment and padding refined in the Ninja Card interface.
- Fixed an issue where instanced map names (e.g., houses) were incorrectly added to translatable keys.
How to Access the New Settings
All mouse‑control options are available in the Settings → Controls section. Players can create multiple Control Profiles to switch between different keybinding setups instantly.
