Rivals of Aether II New Release Announced with Salaryman Kragg Mid-Month Bundle and Enhanced Features

Rivals of Aether II, the eagerly anticipated sequel to the popular indie fighting game Rivals of Aether, has officially launched. This new release promises an exciting journey for both returning and new players, featuring a fresh lineup of elemental fighters in the next generation of platform-based combat.

One of the standout features of this update is the introduction of the Salaryman Kragg Mid-Month Bundle, which includes a variety of cosmetic items such as skin, emote, icon, platform, 25,000 coins, and 250 Aether bucks, along with custom voice lines. This bundle offers players an immersive way to customize their experience within the game.

Additionally, Rivals of Aether II introduces a host of new shop items, including palettes for characters like Zetterburn, Maypul, and Ranno, as well as icons for Joltbeak, Chillamari, Kinguin, and Suttlebub. Players can also enjoy the Party Time Death Effect, adding a fun twist to their gameplay.

The update also brings significant improvements to the game's functionality with the addition of the Fair Lag for Host feature in player-hosted lobbies. Other enhancements include listen servers that display local player NAT type and hosting player connection type (wired/wifi), as well as public lobby creation with a player size cap to facilitate matches with nearby opponents.

Bug fixes have been implemented to address issues such as menu state synchronization after loading, menu state resetting on match restarts, and CPU floorhugging not functioning correctly due to recent changes in floorhug logic.
