RuneScape: Dragonwilds Launches with New Features and Localization Support

September 29, 2025 - RuneScape: Dragonwilds, the latest addition to the beloved RuneScape universe, is now available for players to explore. This co-operative survival crafting game sets players on the forgotten continent of Ashenfall, where they must gather resources, build structures, and master skills to survive against the awakening dragons led by the fearsome Dragon Queen.

With today’s launch, RuneScape: Dragonwilds introduces a wealth of new features designed to enhance gameplay for players around the world. Notably, the game now supports localisation in Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish (LatAm), making it more accessible to players from these regions. The Official RuneScape: Dragonwilds Discord server has also been updated with regional channels in these languages to foster community interaction and support.

Players will discover Cooking 3.0, featuring a new buildable cooking station called the Stone Range, which offers enhanced flexibility and functionality for culinary enthusiasts. Additionally, iconic RuneScape Hitsplats have been reintroduced to provide clearer visual feedback during combat, with darker hitsplats indicating enemy resistances to specific weapon types.

Music lovers will appreciate the refactored music system, which now includes over 30 minutes of additional classic RuneScape tracks, enriching the experience for both new and returning players. A new inventory tab has also been added specifically for storing arrows and bolts, addressing feedback from the community about rune storage and mage-only rune pockets.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds continues to evolve with bug fixes based on player feedback, including improvements to the Smash Hit (Splat) mechanics, clearer visual indicators for enemy resistances, and adjustments to the music system to ensure a smoother audio experience. The inventory tab has also been updated to better accommodate various types of arrows and bolts.
