SELF: A New Text-Based Adventure Game Released on September 12, 2025

On September 12, 2025, doBell Studio and indienova announced the release of SELF, a suspenseful Kafkaesque text-based adventure game with simulation and puzzle mechanics. Players are invited to embark on an introspective journey to find their father and rediscover their own self.

SELF features several unique elements:

• Free conversation with a computer named Hymer without fixed text options
• Open-ended search function allowing any keyword entry to locate conversational logs
• Uncovering new keywords, gathering clues, collecting 'faces', and revealing Hymer's secret

A demo version is available, providing approximately 20-30 minutes of gameplay with some limitations on the 'search' feature. The full version is scheduled to release by the end of the year.
