Space Engineers Update: Fixes and Enhancements Released

On September 12, 2025, Space Engineers, a sandbox game focused on engineering, construction, exploration, and survival in space and on planets, has released a significant update through Hotfix 1.207.021.
This update introduces several new features and improvements:
- New Hardcore Survival Servers have been added for EU and North America with maximum survival difficulty settings and realistic sounds, catering to masochists who seek ultimate challenges.
- PvE Survival Servers are now available in the UK and North America.
- New Gamepad Features: Players can access the Active Buffs screen via the Systems Radial Menu > View > Active Buffs. Additionally, several new Random Encounters have been re-enabled after fixing issues that caused persistence without player interaction.
- Fixes include Bounty contracts tooltip improvements and stability fixes for projector unfinished block marks and banner data updates.
In terms of bug fixes, the following issues were addressed:
- Removed direct Gamepad bindings 'View current buffs' and 'Quick (Save/Load)' due to control conflicts.
- Fixed an issue where the new survival rover was missing radial toolbar actions when using a controller.
- Resolved an issue with the Survival Kit inventory UI incorrectly generating food constraint icons based on production blueprints despite no food item limitations.
Stability Fixes:
- Crashes related to projector updates of unfinished block marks and banner data have been resolved.
- Grinders now push gathered components further into the conveyor system, preventing full stoppages.
Art Fixes:
- Corrected Welder Type II collision to match normal ship welders for a seamless replacement in printer setups.
- Added missing connections between Conduit Boxes and tubes, enhancing the game's visual consistency.
