The Bloodline Receives Critical Bug Fixes and Enhancements
October 01, 2025 - Today, The Bloodline, a sandbox adventure RPG where players can forge bonds between kingdoms, explore vast wilds, craft powerful items, and wield mighty weapons or magic, has received an extensive patch to address various bugs and improve gameplay.
The update includes numerous fixes such as correcting all caps text in skill books, ensuring spear skills connect properly with enemies, and fixing potioncrafting issues with controller input. Additionally, the tooltip description for the Goblin Jetpack has been updated to clarify activation while airborne. Players will also notice improved collision detection at specific locations like Sven Vync’s abode and Grimnir’s Gate.
Other notable fixes include resolving date/time clipping in save game windows, ensuring crafting options are selected correctly with controllers, preventing issues with the main quest progression when speaking to the Thane, and restoring functionality for skills that previously failed to detect enemies or corpses. This includes Electrical Remnant, Final Rites, Reanimate Corpse, Explode Corpse, Prophets Spear/Bleed Spear, Pierce of Phykles spear skills, Soul Beam, Prayer for the Dying, speaking with companions, climbing while sheathed with custom weapons, and using arrow keys in weaponsmithing.
Visual and technical improvements have also been made, such as fixing lighting issues with the Altarlight Pauldron in first person, proper assignment of the Chapter quest Atonement Unending, replacing demonic wings from a tomb dungeon with non-demonic Oathsworn Wings, addressing health issues with Frenzied Brothers, preventing lockups when gathering harvestables, and ensuring graphics settings appear localized without requiring changes.
