October 4, 2025 - Today, Toribash, the free-to-play online turn-based fighting game that offers players complete control over their characters’ moves, announced a major update introducing an enhanced ranking system and a host of new features. This update aims to provide players with even more engaging gameplay and rewards.

The updated ranking system resembles the old system from 2014, where all players have a designated rank, and popular rooms become ranked. The system features automated processes with varied rewards and resets quarterly for public lobbies, while mod rankings remain permanent. This change ensures that players can continuously strive for higher achievements without the pressure of constant resets.

Among the new features is a dynamic profile backdrop based on Elo, qualification matches for rank tier placement, and both preliminary and end-of-season rewards. Top 20 players will receive rewards based on their exact placement, including random color packs, joint colors, ToriCredits, Shiai Tokens, and other in-game items.
