On September 18, 2025, Yi Xian: The Cultivation Card Game announced the launch of Season 8, titled Tianji Sigil. This season introduces a revolutionary new keyword mechanic called 'Mechanism Rune.' Players will now experience deeper strategic gameplay as they manage HP loss and trigger unique effects through this innovative feature.

Starting September 25, 2025, the new season will be available in both PvE's Uncharted Realms mode and the competitive Pvp arena. Each time a player loses HP due to an opponent's attack, one Mechanism Rune is consumed, reducing the damage taken by up to two points while maintaining a minimum of one HP loss. Additionally, certain effects can only be activated by consuming Mechanism Runes, adding layers of strategy to deck-building and combat.
